What is the difference between “welfare” programs and “social welfare” programs.?
welfare is one specific type of social program… a social program is basically anything a government does trying to help it’s people… be it a farm subsidy… a grant to a business… or welfare… welfare is a program that gives help, often money, to people who are having trouble making it on their own, there are many requirements and levels to the system… and it can differ greatly from state to state. I mean, I guess technically, the education system is one huge social program… it’s basically the same difference in the words “fruit” and “apple”… as there are many different types of fruit… and apple is one type…
