What is the difference in items that are marked missing and items that are marked lost?
When you complete your inventory and select the “Finalize” button, all items that are still Unmarked will become “Missing in [year of inventory].” The system assumes a “Lost” item was lost by a person, and an item cannot be marked as “Lost” unless it is checked out……..”Lost” is a circulation status. “Missing” is the inventory status.
