What is the difference in the Storm program and in-house teams where my daughter has played before?

Storm teams are comprised of girls who have the skills and ability to play competitive softball. Unlike in-house or recreational travel teams, Storm teams play a level of softball that requires a high degree of skill. Girls who play Storm softball are the top players in their high schools and routinely make varsity teams, often starting, while under classmen. Because the level of competition for Storm teams is intense, the girls begin practicing in the fall and continue indoors throughout the winter. Storm players are committed to playing softball year round as their primary sport and work to bring their skills up to the level needed to compete in open tournaments.
