What is the difference IT,IMIS and Computer science?
COMPUTER SCIENCE – The systematic study of computing systems and computation. The body of knowledge resulting from this discipline contains theories for understanding computing systems and methods; design methodology, algorithms, and tools; methods for the testing of concepts; methods of analysis and verification; and knowledge representation and implementation. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Information Technology is more concerned with the application of computing, and the tools that are used in application. MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS – a business program that focuses on the applications and implications of computing in the business domain. IS students take the Business core and approach computing from the perspective of a manager in the business domain. ————————————–… I remember my professor saying this: Computer Science students created the bulb Information Technology students turns the bulb on and off Management of IS students observes the bulb ———-
