“Formal attire” is like tuxedos and things of that nature. Business attire is more in the way of just plain suits, and they are usually different colors. Formal attire is generally black. Formal attire also has tails. I wouldn’t reccomend wearing a tuxedo to your prom though. You don’t want to look too formal. Just a nice suit, a black one, should do.
