What is the different between the toggle and hydraulic clamping unit?
Actually, there are no different in functional wise between of these two clamping units in the small size machine for producing clamping force. It is because the small size machine often operates in a high speed and fast cycle time is required. Using the toggle clamping system will easy for the regular maintenance and for repair with low cost. (i.e. Elite E series, EA series and S series machines are using the Toggle Clamping System.) However, the Hydraulic Clamping System is using the direct hydraulic clamp of which the tolerance is still and below 1 %, of course, better than the toggle system. In addition, the Low Pressure Protection Device is higher than the toggle system for 10 times so that the protection for the precision and expensive mold is very good.
