Gross Generation is defined as the unit output at the generator terminals before the step up transformer. Net Generation is defined as the amount of MW provided at the Resource Node. For Private Use Networks (PUN), Net Generation also includes load assigned to the generation unit, as detemined by the Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE)/Resource Entity in accordance with the guidelines described in SIG0002, Private Use Networks.
