What is the dolls hair made of and can it be brushed, washed, and styled?
• Your dolls hair is made of kanekalon, the same fiber used for the most expensive wigs designed for people. You can brush and style the hair easily. Gently brush one small section at a time. Use only a wire wig brush that has not been used on human hair (human hair has oils that can damage your dolls hair.) Start at the very end of a small section of hair and remove the tangles as you work up the section just like you do with your own hair. When you have removed all the tangles, brush all the way through the section of hair before starting over on the next section. Be careful not to leave any hair in the brush; be careful not to mix hair from one section with another. It is normal for some hair to be pulled out as you brush, just as your own hair pulls out when you brush it. Severe tangles may be released by spraying a fine mist of water mixed with a dab of good quality cream rinse or conditioner designed for wigs.
