What is the dress code at FMS?
The staff and administration at FMS believe that the way a student dresses can affect behavior and therefore academic performance. To ensure that a safe and high quality-learning environment is maintained, FMS has a standard of dress that all students are required to follow. Parents of students who do not conform to the dress code will be contacted. If a student repeatedly violates the dress code, disciplinary action may be taken. The following dress code pertains to all FMS students All shirts and blouses must cover midriff, back, sides, and all undergarments, including bra straps, at all times. Plunging necklines are not permitted. Boys are not permitted to wear sleeveless tops (Fieldstone Middle School only); See-through or mesh fabrics, spaghetti straps, straps that untie, or halter-tops may not be worn unless they are layered with a top which itself follows the dress code; All trousers, pants, or shorts are not to be rolled at the waist, and must totally cover undergarments, inclu
