Probably cannot be done easily or without some cost, depending on the size of the patio. If you live in a larger burg, you have to get a permit (I know this from nasty experience) and describe how you will do it and get approval of your plans, plus they will eventually come out and check on your work. Many municipalities don’t allow attachment of such structures to the actual home. They have to be free standing. If the patio has a sloped roof now, you might want to reduce the total area enclosed by adding a three foot high wall around it, dropping the “ceiling line” of your enclosure to achieve square or rectangular appearance, all with plywood or car siding and appropriate 2X4 construction, then create your own surround system with upright 2X2’s and plexiglass. The 2X2’s break up the size of plexiglass you will need into manageable sizes, create uniformity, and you can trim them out where the plexiglass meets the wood.
