What is the Feed-In Tariff?
The Feed-in Tariff (also known as Clean Energy Cashback) is a Government measure which provides a regular payment to energy users for renewable electricity that they generate and either use themselves or export to the National Grid. The tariffs have been introduced from April 2010 to encourage the installation of small-scale renewable technologies in the UK.
