SSC’s award-winning FoodPlus! Recycling service is our all-in-one Toter service for yard debris, compostable papers and food scraps. Service is available to nearly all our home and business customers. Contact us to see if service is available in your area. Residential collection is offered every other week for a low monthly rate and includes use of a 60-gallon, wheeled Toter with attached lid (looks just like your green garbage Toter but with different decals). A blue, 2-gallon kitchen pail is also available for a small one-time charge. The pail is yours to keep. The Toter remains the property of SSC. Kitchen pails can be used to collect food scraps and food-soiled papers. When full (or daily), empty into your FoodPlus! Recycling Toter outside. Do not set pails or other inside composting containers at the curb.
