What is the gambling age for atlantic city?
Sorry but it is 21 for almost everything. You cannot physically be in the gaming areas or standing anywhere near gambling if you are 19. You cannot play or watch slots, or any other gambling game if you are in the gaming area. Of course you can try walking around. If they don’t see you playing anything, they may ignore you for a while if you look older. But if they think you look close to 21, there is a good chance they will ID you. I know that makes no sense, as you are legally an adult. But that’s just the way the crazy law works. Maybe you should protest the crazy law and demand that the government give adults all legal rights at the age of 18. Sadly, you will probably do what most people do. As soon as they hit 21 they forget about the three year nonsense gap when you are a legal adult, but are discriminated against like a child.
If you want to risk going on the gaming floor. All you have to do if you get carded is tell them that you don’t have any identification. They will just walk you off of the gaming floor. If you are a minor and actually are gambling and get carded and give them your identification they are required to detain you until a gaming agent gets there. Again, if you tell them you don’t have any ID they will just walk you off the gaming floor. Some casinos have specific areas that minors are allowed to loiter, usually the hotel lobby.
