What Is The HACMBs Responsibility?
The HACMB screens tenants for program eligibility based on income, citizenship and criminal background. We will instruct the tenant on their obligations under the program including their obligations to the HACMB and their responsibility to comply with their Lease. The HACMB’s portion of the rent will be direct deposited by the 5th day of the month. The HACMB is not responsible for collecting the tenant’s portion of the rent or management of the property. This is your responsibility. The HACMB provides a free unit listing service for owners who wish to make their rental units available to Voucher holders.
