What is the Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) degree?

0

The ITMB Degree Framework has been developed by universities and e-skills UK in partnership with a consortium of leading companies that include BT, CA, Ford, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Norwich Union and Unilever. Rather than focus purely on technical skills, ITMB recognises that business, project management, and personal skills are just as important as technical skills. Now in its second year of intake, the ITMB equips graduates with the knowledge for management or senior professional careers designing, developing and implementing technology solutions for businesses. It is supported by the Department for Education and Skills and the Higher Education Funding Council for England. By 2008, the degree will be available in 13 universities, supported by 30 employers. For more information about ITMB, visit www.e-skills.com/itmb.
