0

Institutional Advancement at Tacoma Community College supports the mission, vision and objectives of the college by coordinating and strengthening the internal/external relationships among campus employees, students, alumni, community members, businesses, organizations and other foundations. Institutional Advancement collaborates with the Tacoma Community College Foundation to raise philanthropic support on behalf of the college. Institutional Advancement is charged with coordinating the college’s efforts to raise funds for initiatives that are not sufficiently funded by the state of Washington or by revenue generated from tuition and other sources. Institutional Advancement is the sole area on campus authorized to formally accept and acknowledge gifts for IRS purposes on behalf of the TCC Foundation. Departments and divisions are informed when a donation is restricted to their area. Donors are recognized in appropriate TCC and/or TCC Foundation publications.
