What is the Intel Integrated Performance Primitives?
The Intel IPP library consists of two components. A highly optimized set of libraries for doing primitive operations that are very compute intensive. This includes the fundamental algorithms of many audio and video codecs. The second part is a set of sample libraries that implement the various codecs binary encoding using the optimized libraries. Further information may be obtained from the Intel web site.
