What is the legal & religious status of animal-human hybrids?
I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. Cross breeding is extremely unlikely. Extremely! But let’s say this does happen, (and considering I adore Sabretooth from the X-men movie, I’m totally OK with it,) I would think that society would be completely split on their opinion of them. Some are going to think they’re freaks; and I doubt religion, or even economic status would really affect a person’s opinion about the cross-bred mutants. Others would think this is the coolest thing ever. (But even then many would treat these people like trophies instead of just people.) I would think they would be…people. But I will stress, cross breeding is next to impossible, so likely this won’t come about.
