What is the level of biking fitness required for the bike tours?
We recommend our mountain biking tours to anyone who rides at least 20km each week, or is in good fitness condition. A typical day tour takes us through 25km to 45km of trails, with cumulative vertical climb of 500 to 1,000 meters. We ride mostly off-road non-technical trails, but in some areas, the steep terrain forces us onto paved countryside roads. In some of our tours, an accompanying vehicle will enable optional hopping over challenging uphill sections.
