What is the life expectancy of a CNC Machine?

Some of our manually controlled lathes are over fifty years old and are still giving useful service. There is no reason to believe that, mechanically, CNC machines should be any different. Our CNC machines were first sold in 1984 and many are still running on BBC Computers. Many others have been up-graded to later electronics and software.

Hi everyone, I know that it is a little late, but I would like to know your opinion about this now. Do you still think that the old CNC machines are still good enough to give a good result? I have a friend who is working in this domain for a long period and now he is the happiest man in the world. He has a lot of orders and only an automated system will face all this work. You can see here his work https://www.chinacncmachinings.com/cnc-machining-turning-milling-parts-manufacturer-china/. So I’m sure that an old CNC machine will not manage to do everything that does a new one.

It actually depends on the brand and the type of CNC machine. I would not recommend you to buy that if you are not going to use that for a long time. If you need to use that machine several times, you can check this CNC milling company. They have already helped me several times. Their instruments are very qualitative.
