The Macmillan Prize, funded by Macmillan Children’s Books, was established in 1985 in order to stimulate new work from young illustrators in art school and to help launch their professional careers. Now in its twenty-first year, the Macmillan Prize is entered by students from colleges all over the United Kingdom. Previous winners include such well-known names as Lucy Cousins, Amanda Harvey and Selina Young. Click here for more information and FAQs about the prize.
