What is the Magna Doodle?
This is a drawing/writing toy. It is made of a sturdy plastic. The ones that I have are a blue color with a red pen and six red magnetic stamps. The stamps are a car, a boy, a star, a circle, a dog and a flower. The stamps of this newer model stay in their holders. The Magna Doodle that I had previously did not hold the stamps snugly and they soon became lost. The plastic is molded to have rounded corners for safety and a handle that fits children’s hands quite nicely. To use the toy the child can use the magnetic pen and draw or write whatever he or she wants. The stamps can be used by simply placing them on the drawing area. The part that I like about this toy is that the drawing board will not make any marks without the pen or the stamps. The magnet in the pen and the stamps picks up tiny metallic pieces to make the marks. If the child leans on the board or presses their hand down it does not make the impression.
