What is the managers role in innovation, and how does technology influence innovation in buisness today.?

the manager's role would be the one to find the ways for innovation thru asking members of the group/organization and choose the best one and must start the implementation. Technology influence innovation alot in magnificent way in different aspect. For ex. in developing a new product: how could u imagine the cellphone now can send text, can call, take picture/video,play games or watch a tv in comparison to old cp? if u get what i mean...technology really is a big help for innovation in a business. it makes everything simple/easy and the output will be very good in terms of sales/profit.  more
