What is the Maryland Woodland Stewards Project?
This is an outreach program intended to teach sound forest and wildlife management practices to a select group of people each year. In return, participants apply these principles to their own property and actively encourage others to practice good forest stewardship. A three-day workshop is offered each fall. For more information and an application, see our website page about Maryland Woodland Stewards.
