I’ve seen some ATM’s with limits on anything over 10 K ~ aside from that I’m not sure what you are doing. The ATM will update your account balance immediately (however) it depends if your bank (and your relationship with your bank) has your account marked for “clearing” ~ in other words, the full deposit may not be available until the actual cheque has cleared. Ask your bank what status your account is in and if it is changeable considering your situation.
