What is the meaning of the Stella Artois slogan “Reassuringly expensive”?
It means they want to get rid of ‘the wife beater’ nickname and market themselves at the ‘ponces’. It’s OK to drink Heineken because you think it’s better quality and therefore a little more expensive but if they start marketing it as being more expensive then it’s time to stop drinking the stuff. Poor Stella…. like Porsche, Burberry, Subaru and Evo they will just have to but up with being slightly better but not touched with a barge pole by anyone with any class.
