Hulls: The common mining thickness applied is 50mm to 100mm and up to 150mm for structural support. Specifications vary, for example, from average 50mm cover to minimum 50mm cover. Our recommendation is that minimum cover is always specified. Note that achieving a minimum cover is not as easy as it sounds especially with irregular shaped openings in blocky ground conditions.
