What is the most arid country on Earth?
“Egypt receives the least rainfall in the world.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt “Since there is little precipitation, except at the coasts, the interior of the continent is technically the largest desert in the world.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antarctica So it’s a tough call between them, one desert is boiling and the other freezing! Egypt being 27 to 32 degrees Centigrade but Antarctica being -80 to -90. Granted you only asked for a country and not continent but I think it deserves some recognition for being a VERY dry island.
