What is the most fertile time in a womans cycle?
Most women ovulate about 14 days before the start of their next period and are fertile for about 3 days or so after ovulation. So, if you know when you are ovulating you know when you are most likely to get pregnant. However, this is not an exact science. There is much room for error, so a woman who does not want to get pregnant should consider herself fertile at all times and use birth control every time she has intercourse even if she is menstruating at the time.
