Hi Tas: I think this answer will vary from location to location. In my community, Colonials are the most desirable; followed by capes (although many buyers think this style of home has a lot of wasted space on the 2nd floor and don’t like the slants in the ceilings) Raised Ranches would be the least desirable floor plan. Ranches are most attractive to Baby Boomers or retirees, as they desire a one-level floor plan.
