What is the most unusual thing you have ever used duct tape for?”
Tape for holiday gift wrap. A former employer and I were always trying to outdo each other’s style and creativity. He used to always get the most incredible gift wrap and would obviously spend hours wrapping all the gifts he would give. One year, I became fixated on outdoing him so I hunted down this absolutely amazing wrapping paper. It was thick, matte black handmade paper that looked like it had been all bunched up. It was very soft, almost like fabric. Needless to say, it was also very expensive. I think it actually cost more than most of the things I was wrapping! It was WAR! Damn the expense! Being my usual, procrastinating self, I waited until the morning we were to all exchange the gifts before I got around to wrapping them. It wouldn’t have been that big of a problem, except I had no clear tape in the house. I did, however, have a huge roll of duct tape.
