The temperament of mustang horses varies for each individual horse, like all breeds. They can have wonderful temperaments depending on what kind of experiences they have had. Wild Mustangs are, understandably, very fearful of humans when first captured. Some may be a bit more difficult to gentle and train. However, many settle in quickly to become willing, trustworthy partners.
