What is the noise level from a pressure jet burner in a Rayburn?
Compares favourably with any other pressure jet appliance and is probably quieter than previous generations of range cooker. Actual sound level readings (i.e. decibels) are pretty meaningless, due to other site factors such as property location and environment. Conventional flue models will generally be quieter than balanced flue, particularly if appropriate flue pipe materials are used. Balanced flue models are quieter in the actual kitchen but may create more noise at the vent outside. Noise acceptability is very subjective and therefore it is recommended that potential customers are invited to hear the product running and then make their own judgement.
