Unless you give your guinea pig stimulation they will simply eat and poop. They need a lot of interaction to keep their little minds going so they think of fun things to do. You must keep they happy, a happy guinea pig is a playful guinea pig.I was woken by my Miya tonight as she needed to play, her cage is set up at the foot of the bed so she can come and sleep with me when she wishes which is 90% of the time. Tonight she was playing peek a boo with me, she would run to her cage as fast as she could go, turn around and charge me and take a peek and off she was to her cage only to do a lope in it and back she was, She did this for the longest time then settled in next to mt for the night. During the day she often has spurts of energy when she does lops round her cage then she will come up on to the bed to sleep, she usually has a running spurt in the morning between 8 and 9 then in the evening around 6.The rest of the time she is eating quietly in she cage.
