What is the organizational structure of the Red Cross?
The International Red Cross Movement is made up of The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (Federation) and 185 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The ICRC and the Federation have been described as the two heads of the Movement while the national societies can be seen as the many arms.
