What is the Pennsylvania Humane Police Officer Training Program?
The Pennsylvania Humane Police Officer Training Program is a state mandated training program for those individuals who are seeking appointment to become a Certified Humane Police Officer within the State of Pennsylvania. This program is specific to the State of Pennsylvania. If you are interested in attending this course, first visit the PA Federated Humane Societies website at: www.humaneinpa.org. There you can click on the link: “Do you want to be an Animal Cop?” listed on the left pane of that web page. This will answer a lot of questions regarding the position of a PA Humane Police Officer.
