What is the policy for overdue/ lost Interlibrary Loan books?

0

Overdue policies for ILL books are determined by each lending library, but may include fines, notices, or providing or paying for replacement copies of long overdue books. In general, because we are borrowing books from other libraries, it is our policy to do as much as we can to return books to lending libraries on time. We send out overdue e-mail notices through ILLiad, so it is important that your e-mail address is correct in your ILLiad account. After the third overdue notice (notices go out weekly), your ILLiad account will be blocked and you won’t be able to request Interlibrary Loan books until you return your overdues. At the same time, your CIIS Library account will be blocked and you won’t be able to check out books from the CIIS Library until you return your ILL books. In the event that there are overdue or lost item charges, they will be billed to your Koha account. *Please note, that while we do notify you when your materials arrive, we do not notify you when they are due
