The Preventive Maintenance Program (PM Program) requires that commercial vehicles be systematically inspected, repaired, and maintained every 12 months or 25,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The PM Program applies to: Class E truck with a registered / operating GVWR of over 10,000 pounds; Class F tractor; Class G trailer or semi-trailer with a registered / operating GVWR of over 10,000 pounds; Class P passenger bus; Class M multipurpose vehicle with a seating for 16 or more people or a vehicle previously registered as a Class H school bus or Class P bus.
