What is the Price of a Gallon of Milk Today?
If you went to purchase a gallon of milk at a local grocery story it would cost you an average of $3.76, give or take about $0.50. The average price at a gas station is up to almost $6.00. The Bureau of Labor reports that the retail cost of a gallon of whole milk has shown little decline in cost and has decreased in price only 18 percent from May 2008 to May of 2009.
