What is the principal of Negative Water proofing?

(Ans) Normally, the treatments done are with solvent base or other polymers, which does not make a proper film on the wet surface and in due course, the film comes out alongwith the paint and the area looks shabby. But, in SRL’s Negative Water proofing system, first a coating of TOPCOAT-SFG is given which cures with the moisture content of the wall and takes a grip on the wall. However, before applying this coating, entire plaster and POP work must be removed completely and this coating is to be applied on the brick wall. After doing this, cement sand plaster with C-Max system of SRL is done and again on the plaster, POP is applied and after that, TOPCOAT-SFG may be applied and over that, other coatings should be used.
