If your activities include BCC, and the appropriate questions are integrated into TRaC surveys, the Research & Metrics Department will calculate the DALYs averted from your interventions. 1) Include suggested questions (available on the KIX) into your TRaC survey 2) Conduct both baseline (1st round) and follow-up (2nd round) TRaC surveys 3) Behavior of interest of the intervention has to be collected in both rounds of TRaCs. 4) BCC DALY questions (i.e., number of sexual partners, number of sexual contacts & condom use) have to be collected in at least one round of data. 5) Clean your data 6) If you detect a significant change in behavior of interest over time, upload the following to the KIX and the metrics will do monitoring and evaluation analysis first to assess if there are changes in behavior of interest due to PSI’s BCC intervention.
