Dampen the substrate prior to spreading the thin set mortar b) Mix the thin set mortar with latex/water c) Slake the mix for 5-10Min d) Spread the adhesive on the surface using the flat side of the trowel and then notch it with the notch end of the mortar e) Spread the thin set mortar only so much as tiles can be installed in 10Min,spread less if it is hot.
