What is the purpose of Auto Iris lens and Varifocal lens?
Auto Iris lens give clear and uniform images in every lighting conditions. It is used where lighting conditions varies time to time. If Clear and crystal images are essential in that particular area then one can go for Auto Iris Lens. Varifocal lens are used where area coverage needs to be changed frequently. For e.g. on one occasion you require to cover entire gate and on other you need to only cover entry of vehicles with their number plate. So with Varifocal lens you can adjust the focal point and concentrate particular area.
