To make more single-celled organisms such as Paramecium. Did it ever occur to you that they might very well wonder the same thing about you? You’re not one of those people who thinks the purpose of a bumble bee is to make honey for humans are you? Single celled organisms exist because they have been extremely successful in the evolutionary battle over the last few billion years. There are so many of them that to try an explain what they do, how they make a living, would take a lifetime. There are unknown thousands of single celled organisms which despite having been found by science have not yet been classified by science. If God created all the creatures of the Earth then he must have REALLY loved single cells organisms because he didn’t half make a lot of them.
