What is the purpose of Stored Maps?
A5. Whenever you view a map on the Maps page, that data is saved in your Stored Maps. This means that you don’t have to download the same data more than once, which improves performance. You can store up to 2GB worth of map data, or you can select a lower limit for your stored maps if you have limited memory on your iPhone. To change the allowable size of your Stored Maps cache, go to the Setup page and select from the choices under Map Performance Optimization.
