What is the qualifying level of cost (minimum/maximum) on an individual item for purchasing equipment with grant funds?
In order to allow maximum flexibility for the development of project designs at the local level, there is no prescribed limit or percentage of the budget that can be allocated to equipment. It is important to keep in mind, however, that equipment and/or supplies requested under the grant should be related to improving or enhancing emergency management plans or should address a specific weakness or vulnerability in the emergency management plan.
