What is the REAL number of the beast?
The Number of the Beast (of Revelation) is the number of complete imperfection: Six-hundred-and-sixty-six. To reckon this number you have to know who the Beast of Revelation was. Yes, ‘was’ not one yet to come as many believe. The Jews and early Christians of the time of Revelation were big into numerology and were bilingual Hebrew and Greek. The Beast of Revelation were two: Caesar Nero and his successor and nephew Domitian. To the early Christians 12 was God’s perfect number. The number 6, being half of God’s perfect number was considered imperfect. Then 6 three times over symoblized complete imperfection. Caesar Nero was a big persecutor of the early Christian Church.
