What is the relationship between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales?
Basically, there are 9 degrees of Fahrenheit for each 5 degrees of Celsius. And a good starting point for memory is that 10 degrees Celsius equals 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Most calculations you’d need to do in everyday life can be either added or subtracted from that reference point. I use this due to the round numbers. If you need a direct correlation: F = (C * 1.8) + 32 C = (F – 32) / 1.8 Note that 1.8 = 9/5, which is the rate of change mentioned in my first sentence.
