The haemophilia part is more simple:- Haemophilia is carried on the X chromsosome. Males have only one X chromosome inherited from the mother and one Y chromosome inherited from the father. Females have two X chromosomes, one from mother and one from father. Haemophilia is a recessive gene carried on the X chromosome. For a female to have the haemohpilia condition she would need to inherit the X chromosome with the haemophilia gene from her mother and the X chromosome from her haemophilia sufferer father.
