Both the Turnpike Authority and the Department of Transportation are state agencies. The Turnpike Authority has an entirely different board, source of funding and mission from the Department of Transportation. The Department of Transportation may provide some support to the Turnpike Authority regarding the Toll Road to No Where, but that support will be minor because the Department of Transportation has no funding dedicated for the Toll Road.
